This Privacy Policy explains what information HandbookGuard ("we," "us") collects when you visit this site or purchase a Kit, and how we use it.
1. What we collect

2. Third parties we use
We rely on a small number of specialist providers rather than building everything ourselves, so your data is only ever shared with services that need it to do their specific job:
- Stripe, Inc. — processes all payments. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant; we never receive or store your full card number. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — sends transactional emails (order confirmations, your Kit delivery, replies to support requests). We do not use your email for marketing unless you separately opt in. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel Inc. — hosts this site and its backend functions, and stores order-related files and lightweight order state. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Cookies and analytics
This site may use basic analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. These tools may set cookies in your browser. We do not currently use advertising/retargeting cookies, but if that changes this policy will be updated to reflect it.
4. How long we keep data
We retain order and email records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, honor our refund guarantee, and meet our own tax/accounting recordkeeping obligations. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time — see Section 6.
5. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online service is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but payment data in particular is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure, not stored on our own servers.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@handbookguard.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're in California, the EU/UK, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy-rights laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), those rights apply to you as provided by law — contact us and we'll honor applicable requests.
7. Children's privacy
This site and our products are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
